Lions’ Jameson Williams addresses penalty with support from Dan Campbell

Detroit Lions They will have a significant portion of their offense back this week as wide receiver Jameson Williams returns from a two-game suspension.

Williams was banned for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances. The former first-round pick took responsibility for the penalty but said he did not knowingly do anything against the rules.

The Alabama product addressed the media for the first time since his suspension was revoked and said he learned he needed to “act smarter” from now on.

Although this was his second suspension since entering the NFL (he was suspended last season for violating the gambling policy), Williams received a vote of confidence from head coach Dan Campbell, something he appreciated.
