Written by Jo Yi-soo, the 14-episode supernatural K-drama focuses on the demon judge Justitia, who is sent to Earth to send ten sinners to Hell. Justitia has no regard for Earth’s judicial system and offers them light sentences so she can secretly kill the criminals and send them to Hell. However, after meeting the compassionate detective Han Daon, he embarks on his journey to become a true judge.

The Judge from Hell K-drama ending revealed: Is Bit-na still alive?

At the end of the fantastic Korean drama The Judge from Hellviewers see Oh Mija’s prophecy come true that if Bit-na and Han Daon are together, one of them must die.

By sentencing serial killer J, aka Jung Tae-gyu, to death during his trial, Bit-na proves her reputation as a fair judge and restores people’s faith in the system. However, Bael had already made it clear to him that if he did not release Jung Tae-gyu, he would face eternal death in Hell. However, viewers see that Bit-na chooses death rather than break Han Daon’s trust in her.

After the hearing, she meets Daon on a bridge and tells him that he must leave soon. She then confesses her feelings, saying, “I loved you so much, Han Daon,” before bidding him farewell for the last time. He also admits that the only weakness in his life is himself.

Elsewhere, A-rong, aka the demon Venato, rushes to Daon’s workplace and tells him that Bit-na will die soon. Daon runs towards him but to no avail as Bit-na is stabbed by Bael’s subordinate. Daon finds his mortal bloody body on the ground and rushes him to the hospital. However, doctors soon declared him dead.

In hell, Bael is not happy for disobeying Justitia and grants her eternal death. However, Gabriel suddenly appears on behalf of God and informs her that because Justitia is a just judge as Bit-na, God has overridden Bael’s order, giving her a second chance at life.

Bit-na wakes up in the hospital fully recovered, and Daon is overjoyed at her return. Later, the duo pays their respects to their neighbor Mija at her funeral. For context, Mija’s body was home to the angel Gabriel. Gabriel returns to Heaven after helping Bit-na in Hell.

The Judge from Hell K-drama ending revealed: What will happen after Jeon Tae-gyu escapes from prison?

After serial killer Tae-gyu is released from prison, he meets his lawyer, who is his accomplice in orchestrating the escape plan. However, Tae-gyu kills him and goes to the airport to get his fake passport. While on the road, he receives an urgent call and learns that there is a problem with the passport and that he will receive it only the next day. This turns out to be the work of Bit-na, who manages to lure him back to her vacation home with Mando’s help.

Bitna then puts on her doomsday outfit and meets Tae-gyu. At his trial, he gives his sentence to the fullest and shows no mercy to Tae-gyu. She uses her powers to drag him into nightmares that feel all too real. At first, Tae-gyu finds himself in a forest where Bit-na hunts him for sport and brutally mauls him. Then Tae-gyu finds himself in Hell; Here he trains Bit-na, that is, Satan, for a sword fight and his father is brutally slaughtered. The nightmares finally end, and when Tae-gyu begs Bit-na for mercy, Bit-na gives him the same treatment as she does her victims, chopping him with an axe. She then creates the Gehenna sword, stabs Tae-gyu with it, and sends him to Hell.

He leaves Tae-gyu’s mortal body hanging from a pole in the front yard of his house. When the police arrive, they also find 14 coffins containing the body parts of Tae-gyu’s victims, which he had originally hidden in a secret room in his mansion.

Yes like that. After Bit-na successfully sends Tae-gyu to Hell, Bael meets her and congratulates her on completing her mission on Earth. He then tells her that she will return to Hell and remain faithful to him as his sole heir. He accepts this but asks Bael to give him 3 years on earth to spend most of his life as a human judge. Bael grants his wish.

Will Bit-na and Han Daon be able to find their happily ever after?

Bit-na informs Daon about his deal with Bael and decides to enjoy his three years on Earth. Daon is happy with everything she offers him and respects his decision.

Two years later in the supernatural K-drama, Bit-na, who was transferred from Seoul, is sent back to work at the Seoul Central Court. He is happy to be around his old colleagues and Daon. He also goes back to Hwangcheon Dong and has dinner with his old neighbors and checks in on the victims’ families. But her happiness is short-lived when Bael meets her in her office and, in one of The Judge From Hell’s most shocking twists, informs her that Lucifer is impatient to make a final deal with her. If Lucifer manages to kill ten sinners and send them to Hell in his third year on earth, he will allow Bit-na to remain on earth as a human for the rest of her life.

In the ending moments The Judge from HellBit-na informs Daon about Lucifer’s deal. He expresses his discomfort at having to give light punishments to sinners during his tests so that he can secretly kill them and send them to Hell. However, accepting the deal will mean that she can stay on earth with Daon for the rest of her life. The latter reassures Bit-na, saying that he will support her in all her decisions.

Before the credits roll, Bit-na returns from the hearing and meets a group of school children. When they ask if he’s a good judge or a bad judge, he breaks the fourth wall and jokes, “I’m a judge from hell.” This indicates that Bit-na accepted Lucifer’s agreement to send ten sinners to Hell once again, to remain human forever and spend a lifetime with Daon on earth.
