Spring Valley Man Confesses to Sexual Abuse of a Minor

Spring Valley, NY – Luis Quinac-Morales, 41, of Spring Valley, New York, pleaded guilty to First Degree Sexual Conduct Course. That plea was entered Wednesday in Rockland County Court before Judge Anne B. Bianchi.

Quinac-Morales had been repeatedly sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl in Spring Valley since 2016. Rockland County District Attorney Thomas E. Walsh II confirmed the charges, highlighting abuse involving sexual intercourse.

District Attorney Walsh expressed his commitment to protecting children through the resources and cooperation of law enforcement at multiple levels. The investigation involved the Spring Valley Police Department and the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office’s Special Investigations and Special Victims units.

Quinac-Morales pleaded guilty before the jury trial began. He faces nine years in state prison with 20 years of post-release supervision and mandatory sex offender registration. The date of sentencing was set as January 14, 2025.
