LPR alert leads to arrest of wanted Nashville man in Mount Juliet

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WSMV) – Mt. A license plate reader (LPR) camera alert led to the arrest of a wanted man in Nashville on Saturday, according to the Juliet Police Department (MJPD).

Police said they were alerted by an LPR to a vehicle linked to “frequent evading crime”.

Officers stopped the vehicle on East Division Avenue near Old Lebanon Dirt Road.

MJPD said they arrested the 36-year-old driver from Nashville, who was wanted since December 2022 for a probation violation and domestic assault with bodily injury. The man was also driving with a revoked licence.

“Thanks to the dedication of our officers, individuals involved in criminal activity will not succeed here on Mount Juliet. We are committed to keeping our community safe!” MJPD said in a social post.
