Suspects sought after multiple vehicle thefts in Limestone County

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHEN) — The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two men wanted in connection with recent car thefts.

On Monday, November 11, there was a series of vehicle thefts in the East Limestone area overnight into the early hours of Tuesday morning.

LCSO said the suspects targeted unlocked vehicles and took valuables such as cash, firearms, credit cards and identification documents.

After further investigation, deputies were able to identify two of the three men accused of the theft.

According to LCSO, arrest warrants were issued for Deon’Jaun Jamien Amura Hill, 24, of Huntsville, and Natalie Rebekah Jett, 21, of Hazel Green.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts or details that may assist the investigation can contact Investigator Martin Evans or Captain Caleb Durden of the Sheriff’s Office at (256)-232-0111.

The Sheriff’s Office urges the community to proactively prevent vehicle thefts. Investigators found that these crimes typically occurred between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., with criminals speeding through neighborhoods and checking door handles for unlocked cars. When a door is found open, thieves will search the vehicle and take anything of value.

In order to avoid being exposed to such crimes, citizens are reminded of the following:

  • Always lock vehicle doors

  • Remove all valuables from their vehicle, including firearms, cash and personal documents

  • Report any suspicious activity to the Sheriff’s office immediately
