Maldini, Vieri and 2006 World Cup stars expected in Italy-France

Paolo Maldini, Christian Vieri, Giorgio Chiellini and a large squad from Italy’s 2006 World Cup-winning squad are expected to take part in Sunday evening’s exciting Nations League match against France at the San Siro.

A star-studded selection of Azzurri legends are expected to attend the Italy-France match, which featured the same two countries in the 2006 World Cup final.

Gianluigi Buffon of the World Cup-winning Italy team will of course be there, given his role in Luciano Spalletti’s backroom team. In addition to Daniele De Rossi, Maldini, Gianluca Zambrotta, Massimo Oddo and Cristian Zaccardo will also be there.

Vieri, Chiellini, Roberto Donadoni, Mauro Tassotti and Fabio Capello are also expected to attend.

Many non-playing stars of the current Serie A scene are also expected to be at the San Siro, including Inter President Beppe Marotta and Milan advisor Zlatan Ibarhimovic. Former Milan CEO and current Monza chief Adriano Galliani will also be there. Sky Sport Italy.
