BRONX – A man who shot a teenager in the leg in the Bronx Sunday morning has been arrested, police said.

His name was identified as 20-year-old David Ayenengoye. Police said he was charged with attempted murder and criminal use of a firearm.

Police responded to a 911 call about a person being shot at 10:06 a.m.

The incident occurred near East 167th Street and River Avenue in the Concourse section.

EMS took the 15-year-old to Lincoln Hospital. Police said the teenager’s condition was stable.

The victim’s name was not released.

It’s unclear what caused the conflict.
