Prosecutor Tom Storey KC told the hearing it was clear the manifesto was designed to be published online because it ended with a list of X handles or tags, which included Ukip and news sources such as the BBC and GB News.

The court heard that Laurence Fox, Nick Griffin, Donald Trump, Lee Anderson, Liz Truss, Michael Gove, Lord David Cameron, Richard Tice and Boris Johnson were also on the list of people Parslow was trying to add.

Mr Storey said a police search of Parslow’s flat in Bromyard Terrace, Worcester, seized a second sheathed knife, an axe, a metal baseball bat, a red armband bearing a swastika, a Nazi-era locket and copies of books. he said. Mein Kampf.

During the Crown’s opening statement, the jury was told that CCTV footage from the Pear Tree Inn showed the defendant arriving at the hotel and attacking Mr Hagos, who is originally from East Africa.

Blood containing a DNA profile matching that of 25-year-old Mr Hagos was found on the knife left by Parslow, whose email address included the phrase “lordadolfreborn”.

Details of the hearing could not be reported until the court order was lifted on Friday after Parslow pleaded guilty to an unrelated sexual offense and two charges under the Malicious Communications Act.

He showed no reaction as he was found guilty of attempted murder and minutes later admitted crimes committed in July and August last year, including deliberately exposing his genitals in a video posted from a Facebook account.

Parslow was remanded in custody and will be sentenced by Mr Justice Dove at Woolwich Crown Court on a date to be determined.

Explaining the circumstances of the attempted murder to the jury, Mr Storey said: “The defendant’s actions on the day were carefully planned and guided by a particular ideology, particularly a far-right ideology; This led him to target himself. “He is a victim because of his ethnicity.”

Mr Hagos was eating at the conservatory when he was attacked, and said of his survival: “I still look at it as a miracle. God saved me.”

CCTV footage of the stabbing and its aftermath shows Mr Hagos, clearly bleeding and in distress, fleeing into a car park while being chased by Parslow.

Mr Hagos managed to return to the main reception area where the hotel manager locked the front door, preventing Parslow from re-entering the premises, but he then re-entered through another door, apparently in search of further victims.

The hotel manager and a builder used a minibus to take Mr Hagos to hospital in Worcester because they thought he had lost so much blood.

Upon Mr. Hagos’ arrival at the hospital, he was found to have an 8cm long wound on his left chest, which did not penetrate any of his vital organs.
