Reported burglary near Kate Middleton’s Windsor Castle home Prince William

Police continue their investigation into the theft Windsor Castlenear the family home Prince William and his wife KatePrincess of Wales.

The suspects managed to break into a building from the royal family’s estate in Windsor, England, on October 13 and steal two items, a spokesperson for Thames Valley Police told ABC News.

“At around 11.45pm on Sunday, October 13, we received reports of a burglary at a property on the Crown Estate near the A308 in Windsor,” the spokesman said in a statement. “The criminals broke into a farm building and fled in a black Izuzu pickup and a red SUV. They then drove to the Old Windsor/Datchet area.”

No arrests have been made and the “investigation is ongoing,” according to police.

George, Charlotte and Louis attend Lambrook School in nearby Berkshire. The school was closed the week of the theft, which likely means the family was not traveling at the time.
