Suspect who stabbed the night at Coachella was arrested

A man was stabbed overnight in Coachella and authorities say they have arrested the suspect.

Authorities said the stabbing occurred on 8th Street around 11:12 p.m. Friday night. When deputies arrived, they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The injured person, whose condition was critical, was taken to hospital by CALFIRE helicopter.

Deputies located a suspect who was arrested on 6th Street.

The investigation is still ongoing.
