Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana was launched by the government of Maharashtra on June 28, 2024. Eligibility criteria
Ladki Bahin Yojana is applicable to women between the ages of 21 and 65. The scheme provides financial assistance of Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,500 per month to eligible women. Women must be permanent residents of Maharashtra. Also, annual family income should be less than Rs 2.5 lakh.

Monthly financial aid
Eligible women will be given Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,500 every month. Ladki Bahin Yojana primarily focuses on reducing financial barriers that prevent girls from continuing their education. It provides direct financial support to girls and aims to encourage them to complete their schooling and pursue higher education.

How to apply
Step 1: If you meet the eligibility criteria to apply for the Majhi Ladki Bahin Programme, visit the official Ladki Bahin Maharashtra Portal.

Step 2: Click on ‘Applicant Login’ on the home page.
Ladki Bahin Yojana is an important initiative that contributes to women empowerment by providing financial independence, health and overall well-being to women in Maharashtra.

Step 3: A new page will appear. Select ‘Create Account’

Step 4: Fill out the registration form by providing all the required information including your name, password and address.

Step 5: After filling out the form, carefully review all the information and then complete the registration process by clicking the Register button.

Offline application process
To apply for the program offline, applicants can visit Zilla Parishad and consult the concerned government official. They can receive the application form from the official, fill it out and submit it along with the required documents.

Schemes like Ladki Bahin yojana played an important role in Mahayuti’s victory in the Maharashtra Assembly polls, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said on Saturday. The Mahayuti coalition led by the Bharatiya Janata Party includes the Shiv Sena party (Eknath Shinde faction) and the Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar faction). According to official data on the ECI website, the BJP won 132 Assembly constituencies, the Shiv Sena (Shinde) won 57 and the Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar faction) won 41.

Thanking his voters, Ajit Pawar said, “I would like to thank my voters once again for giving me this responsibility. I will continue to work for the development of the state for the next five years,” Ajit Pawar told reporters here.

He further said, “We will not get carried away by this victory; on the contrary, it increases our responsibility. We must act responsibly now. We are determined to work together for the development of Maharashtra over the next five years.”
