jaw-dropping Alfa Romeo The 33 Stradale is undergoing final testing ahead of customer deliveries starting next month.

If you need a refresh, the new 33 Stradale is Alfa Romeo’s attempt to revive the iconic 33 Stradale, first launched in 1967.

33 Stradales (below) considered since inception one of the most beautiful cars of all timeDespite facing legends like Lamborghini Miura and Ferrari Daytona.

Every inch of this redesigned Stradale is stunning.

Only 33 models will be built, costing around £2.6 million each. Ah. The first lucky owner will receive their gloves in December.

And, ahead of that launch, the 33 Stradale has been roaring around the Nardò Technical Center in Italy, a famous proving ground thought to be the world’s fastest circular car circuit.

The car you’re looking at here is equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine that produces over 620 hp and is equipped with an 8-speed DCT transmission, rear-wheel drive and an electronic limited-slip differential.

According to Alfa Romeo, it will run from 0 to 62 mph in ‘under three seconds’. Maserati MC20. The top speed of the 33 Stradale is 207 mph.

But there is another option; because wealthy buyers can also opt for an all-electric powertrain instead. Here, a 102 kWh battery and three electric motors deliver 750 hp and a range of approximately 280 miles between charges.

An Alfa Romeo spokesperson tells us: “Because everything is aimed and designed for the highest level of human-machine engagement, the vehicle offers two driving modes – Strada (Road) and Pista (Track) – which can be activated from switches in the central tunnel. The first, which is activated when the vehicle is started, is comfort and guarantees driving pleasure, smooth power delivery, usual pedal precision, soft suspension, fluid delivery and active exhaust valves that open only above 4,000 rpm. Alternatively, in Pista mode the driver is adrenaline-fueled. “It favors the ride, the power is at its peak, the pedals are more responsive and the suspension is firmer, and it offers quick shifting and active exhaust valves that are always open.”

For this £2.6 million spend, you get an aluminum H-frame, carbon fiber monocoque, active suspension system and Brembo carbon ceramic brakes.
