NHL’s TNT’s Paul Bissonnette Attacked During Argument at Scottsdale Restaurant

Former Phoenix Coyotes player and current TNT NHL analyst Paul Bissonnette was reportedly attacked by six men at a restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Sunday, November 24.

Accordingly Fox 10PhoenixBissonnette was taken to the hospital for evaluation, but police did not discuss the severity of his injuries other than that they were not life-threatening.

The incident occurred at Houston’s Restaurant around 7:30 PM PST, when six men were seen arguing with management. Police said Bissonnette tried to calm the situation and get the men away, but things then escalated.

“The situation escalated to the point where the men attacked Paul Bissonnette inside and outside the restaurant,” Scottsdale Police said, via Fox 10 Phoenix.

It was stated that 6 people were detained after the incident. They face assault and disorderly conduct charges.

Bissonnette played in the NHL for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Phoenix Coyotes from 2009 to 2014. The football player, who played in 202 matches in his career, scored 7 goals and recorded 15 assists.
