BEAVERTON, ore. (KPTV/Gray News) – An 18-year-old man was found guilty of raping and murdering a 13-year-old girl who was reported missing in 2022.

Daniel Gore was found guilty of first-degree murder, first-degree rape and first-degree sexual abuse charges.

13-year-old Milana Li on May 10, 2022 Found dead in a small stream in Westside Linear Park After he was reported missing by his mother the day before.

Milana’s friends and her mother went looking for her in a wooded area she was known to visit and found her clothes and shoes there.

Police searched the area and found Li’s body half submerged under a heavy blanket in a stream.

Gore was identified as a person of interest and fled after police tried to speak to him in a library two days after Milana’s body was found.

He was later arrested.

Police learned that Gore called his then-girlfriend after the murder and told her something bad had happened but that he was “dealing with it.”

The Washington District Attorney’s Office confirmed in a press release after the hearing that Milana was raped and murdered by Gore.
