Adani Green, Adani Power, Adani Enterprises: Adani shares rose up to 5% after the announcement of bribery charges in the USA

Shares of Adani Group companies, including Adani Green Energy Ltd, Adani Power Ltd, Adani Energy Solutions Ltd and Adani Enterprises Ltd, saw gains in early trading on Wednesday.

Gains reached 5% after the group said Gautam Adani, Sagar Adani and senior executive Vneet Jaain do not face charges under the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).

ADANI GROUP SHARES GAIN COOLLY

Shares of Adani Green Energy were trading at Rs 933.60, up 3.90%, as of 11:00 am. Shares of Adani Power Ltd rose 5.16% to Rs 460.25, while Adani Enterprises Ltd rose 3.57% to Rs 2,227.20.

Other Adani group stocks also showed positive momentum. Adani Total Gas Ltd rose 1.78% to Rs 590, Adani Wilmar Ltd rose 0.90% to Rs 292.95 and Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone registered a marginal increase in the same period.

S&P Global Ratings also noted that the US allegations could impact the group’s funding abilities. However, the group’s statement seems to have eased investors’ concerns for now.
