Two suspected shoplifters charged with multiple thefts in Dudley

Two men charged with multiple thefts from area stores dudley district for the last few months.

Mohammed Adil and Chelsea Davies were arrested and charged with shoplifting. Brierley HillA total of 10 crimes were committed in Pensnett and Dudley in October and November.

Adil, 24, of Adelaide Street, Brierley Hill, was charged with six shoplifting counts in Pensnett and Brierley Hill, in which shops were targeted and hundreds of pounds worth of household goods were stolen, while Davies, 31, of no fixed address, was the target of two shops in Dudley and Brierley Hill. four counts of shoplifting.

The duo was taken into custody and sent to the courthouse today. Walsall Magistrates’ Court Wednesday morning. There is no detailed information yet about their appearance in court.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “Two suspected burglars have been charged with several burglaries in Brierley Hill, Pensnett and Dudley.

“Muhammad Adil, 24, of Brierley Hill, was charged with six shoplifting offenses in Pensnett and Brierley Hill in October and November.

“Two shops were targeted and hundreds of pounds worth of household goods were stolen.

“Chelsea Davies, 31, of no fixed address, was charged with four shoplifting offenses in Dudley and Brierley Hill in October and November.

“Two stores were again targeted. Both were detained to appear at Walsall Magistrates’ Court this morning (November 27).

“Shoplifting is a priority for us at Dudley Local Police Area and we are committed to pursuing repeat offenses that cause harm to businesses and customers.
