2 BG Press employees arrested due to BCS question leak

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has arrested two employees of BG Press for their alleged involvement in the leaked questions of the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) exam.

Those arrested are Md Majnu Mia, 59, a porter at BG Press, and Md Akram Hossain, 47, a bookbinder.

Speaking to UNB today evening (November 27), CID (media) special chief Azad Rahman said that Majnu Mia was arrested from Shewrapara in Mirpur last night, while Akram Hossain was arrested from BG Press area earlier today.

The duo was presented before the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court (CMM) today. While Akram Hossain gave a statement under Section 164 of the CrPc, Majnu Mia was detained for three days for further interrogation.

They were arrested in a case filed at Paltan Police Station on July 9.
