Stabbing in Dagenham: Man charged with three counts of attempted murder | UK News

A man is due to appear in court charged with attempted murder after three people were stabbed in Dagenham, east London, on Friday.

A woman in her 30s and her two children were found stabbed to death in a home on First Avenue. Metropolitan Police in question.

Kulvinder Ram, 48, of First Avenue, was arrested at the scene and will appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

Police said all parties involved knew each other.

The woman and the children, including an 8-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy, were taken to the hospital for treatment.

It is stated that none of them are life-threatening.

Speaking shortly after the stabbings, Detective Superintendent Lewis Basford, who is in charge of Barking and Dagenham police, said it was a “truly shocking” incident.

“The scene will remain in place for some time as our officers carry out vital work and you will see an increased police presence in the area over the coming days,” he added.
