12th Battalion police officers stage protest against suspensions – Telangana Today

Nalgonda: TGSP policemen from 12th Battalion in Nalgonda staged a protest on Sunday, demanding immediate reinstatement of their colleagues who were suspended without cause during a peaceful protest.

Police officers called for restraining orders to be rescinded and demanded justice from the government. While they stood united in their cause, their slogans against the administration echoed through the battalion buildings.

The protest highlighted growing discontent among police forces who felt their complaints were not being addressed by authorities.

Police officers said they would continue their actions until their demands are met. In total, 39 TGSP police officers were suspended from duty on charges of abuse of power and provocation. The orders stated that some personnel staged protests on the battalion campus.
