Suspects sought in South End stabbing

Oct. 28 — CUMBERLAND — Two suspects were being sought late Sunday following a stabbing in the 300 block of Springdale Avenue that sent one victim to UPMC Western Maryland for injury treatment, according to the Allegany County Department of Emergency Services.

Cumberland Fire Department ambulance transported the victim to the hospital following dispatch from Allegany County 911 emergency center.

A county alert issued just after 11 p.m. indicated that two black male suspects wearing dark clothing with blood stains were wanted in connection with the incident.

More details were sought from Cumberland Police.
