Man who stole bag and attacked woman faces charges – NTV

On Sunday afternoon, police in St. were called to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence in downtown St. John’s.

Police determined that a 55-year-old man attacked a woman and stole her bag.

The suspect left the house before police arrived at the scene. He was located a short time later and arrested for assault and robbery.

The man was detained. The woman suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
