All the complicated editing errors that occurred during MAFS UK 2024

There were a number of major editing errors during MAFS UK 2024 that called some of the biggest moments and shocks into question. Is anything real anymore?

From people appearing in two places at once to food magically appearing and disappearing, either this year’s cast has secret powers or the continuity of the episodes has been a bit dodgy.

Here’s a recap of the biggest editing errors that have occurred in MAFS UK 2024 so far.

Orson was first seen at dinner and then reentered the room.

First of many editing errors during MAFS UK 2024 came at the first dinner partyBefore Orson even made his entrance, he was seen chatting in the main room.

At the beginning of the evening, a small group gathered as the bride and groom arrived, and people divided into two groups and chatted among themselves. Orson was seen chatting with some of the other grooms.

But then things started to get a little dodgy in the editing department. Suddenly the show cuts to a commercial break, and then the first scene to return is Orson, apparently dramatically arriving at the dinner party alone. He made most of his entrance without his wife Richelle, and the camera showed everyone happy to see him, but a little surprised to see him alone.

The food in front of Kieran and Kristina was disappearing and reappearing

Honestly, I don’t even know why MAFS does scenes involving food, because it always shows how edited the scenes really are. During this episodeKieran and Kristina welcomed his mother and sister into their home and prepared a meal for them.

When the group first sat down and started eating, their bowls and a plate of garlic bread were clearly full, but after a few seconds everything was suddenly clean and empty. The camera cut again and the garlic bread magically reappeared and the bowls were filled again.

This happened several times and proved that large portions of the conversation were cut and replaced compared to how it actually happened.

Amy’s hair changed in the blink of an eye

When things get heated and uninvited brides and grooms are having their weddings, Another mistake noticed. Amy’s hair changed in the blink of an eye during her on-camera confessional on her big day.

Although at home we were shown singing two snippets from her interview in the same shot, it definitely wasn’t, as her curls fell out and then instantly became perfect again.

There was also an editing error in the food in front of Luke

Food is at it again! More food was appearing and disappearing when the players go to retreat. The boys sat in a field the entire time they were away and answered awkward questions like which bride they thought was the sexiest.

Luke was a trouble-free king, sitting in the corner and eating cheese and biscuits, but this served as evidence that the conversation had been cut and heavily edited to change our view of what was going on as viewers. Luke kept going from one plate of food to not eating, to not eating again, to not eating, and so on. These changes occurred simultaneously, at intervals of less than seconds.

Possibly the biggest of all editing errors so far in MAFS UK 2024, Orson and Richelle were at the commitment ceremony twice! During the episode, the couple was arguing in front of the experts on the couch, but then the camera cut to the rest of the cast to get their shocking reactions, and Orson and Richelle were there, too!
