Oliver Stark Reveals What Buck Wants in a Relationship (Exclusive)

9-1-1 we have some of our favorite relationships on television right now. In fact, three out of 118 people are in long-term, stable, loving marriages, as well as strong partnerships. Two other firefighters are still trying to resolve the problem. This includes Buck (Oliver Stark), hasn’t had much luck in love and is currently dating fellow first responder Tommy (Lou Ferrigno Jr.).

When TV Insider caught up with Stark about the latest episode and got some clues about the obstacles facing Buck and Tommy, we wondered: Does Buck want a relationship like the others – Bobby (Peter Krause) and Athena (Angela Bassett), Maddie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and Chimney (Kenneth Choi) and Chicken (Aisha Hinds) and Karen (tracie thoms)- exists with romance And Is there a partnership in place now or are they still figuring this out?

“I think everyone wants someone they have an open romance with but understand each other’s business. And I think what’s special about this show, or about first responders, is that it’s probably pretty hard to connect to their jobs, and there’s something beyond that that I don’t think a lot of other jobs require,” Stark told us. (which you can watch in the video above). “I think a lot of the relationships on the show are That’s probably why it’s built around couples and they’re both in this world, maybe it’s hard to maintain relationships with certain jobs because there’s just difficulty understanding or relating. to the things they experience.”

He added, “Obviously right now he’s with a first responder in Department 5. But yeah, I think in the long run it’s not necessary but it would be helpful.”

When it comes to Buck’s relationship, Stark hinted at some of the goings-on in Episode 6 (airing Nov. 7). “I’m looking forward to (it). “I like that Buck gets to his own head and goes to the people around him to ask questions and give advice,” he shared. “Buck is going to learn more about Tommy’s past and it’s going to send him into a kind of spiral. And yeah, trusting those around him and really, “He’s going to have to get some pretty deep advice.”
