“Every evening after work I put my bike outside the house and it sleeps there until the morning, but when I woke up on Saturday I couldn’t find my bike and wondered what the problem was,” he said.

It also revealed that someone broke into the chicken coop and killed all 11 chickens that were about to hatch and broke all the eggs.

“When I went to check my chicken coop, I found all 11 of them dead and the eggs they were laying on were broken,” he explained.

Kimani noted that he reported the theft to the local police station while he was looking for his bike, which was his source of income.

The 25-year-old said he found the bike on Monday, October 28, after a local boy grazing goats saw it. in the ditch and warned his parents.

“I reported the theft to the police and we started searching; “Luckily, a local boy told his parents that he saw a motorcycle in the ditch while grazing his animals,” he said.

He explained that when he arrived at the scene, he found more than a hundred people, including the police who organized his removal from the hole.

He was then asked to identify the bike and after doing so the bike was taken to the police station.

“I saw the license plate and immediately confirmed that the motorcycle belonged to me. The officers loaded it into the back of the minibus and took it to the police station,” he said.

He announced that a suspect was arrested but later released on bail. However, he doubts whether the arrested man is responsible for the theft.

“I went back to the police and said that I doubted whether the arrested boy had stolen the bike because he could not have carried it on his own, considering its weight.

“I told them to give me my bike so I can fix it and keep working because I rely on it to make a living,” he said.

Kimani says the bike will cost him around KSh20,000 to build and he is seeking support to fix it.

“I’m looking for money to fix it and get back to work as soon as possible,” he said.

He also said that he leaves everything to God and will not continue looking for criminals because he has more work to do to provide for his parents.
