KTM To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Duke series, it has unveiled the new 990 Duke R. As the name suggests, the 990 Duke R is based on the 990 Duke platform but KTM has made a few upgrades. KTM is expected to launch the 990 Duke R to the global market at EICMA this year. KTM 990 Duke R will be available at authorized dealers from early 2025. As of now, there is no official confirmation whether the 990 Duke R will hit the Indian market.

KTM 990 Duke R: Ergonomics

KTM has overhauled the ergonomics of the 990 Duke R, but the weight remains unchanged. So he still weighs 190 kg. Seat height and ground clearance are now 15mm higher, a result of longer suspension travel and a steeper swingarm angle that allows around 3 degrees more lean angle during attack. Mechanical grip has increased as the chassis and swingarm have also been updated due to the linkage structure at the rear.
