Hyderabad: Four doctors of community health center in Alair and three medical staff of Gundala primary health center in Yadadri-Bhongir district were issued show-cause notices for their absence from duty without permission on Friday, following the surprise visit of District Collector Hanumantu Rao on Friday. The Collector warned the staff who abstained without prior notice and noted that there were serious disruptions in their services. He warned them of strict action in case of further negligence.

District Collector Hanumantu Rao issued a stern warning to medical staff, stating that any negligence in duties will result in strict sanctions. The Collector carried out a surprise inspection at the Community Health Center in Alair and expressed shock at the absence of doctors.


Inspector Dr. was among those who received a show-cause notice for not attending duties at the Alair Health Centre. Swapna Rathod, MD. Sridhar, Dr. Rajini and Dr. Swapna was also there. The Collector reviewed the maintenance of the hospital, asked for staff details and emphasized that the environment should be kept clean. He also reviewed the attendance record and emphasized that medical staff should be alert and serve patients in a timely manner to avoid any inconvenience.

Later, the Collector conducted a surprise inspection of the Primary Health Center in Gundala mandal. He emphasized the importance of having doctors to provide quality services to the public. He reiterated that any negligence in duties would lead to strict action. The Collector examined records regarding doctors and staff at the hospital and issued show-cause notices to those absent, including P. Venkatesam, Community Health Officer, Karuna (MPHS) and Vanaja Kumari.
