Swire Shipping Speculation that Fijian Drua center Iosefo Masi will depart for a French club in the Top 14 competition has been denied by Drua CEO Mark Evans.

Evans says rumors that the powerful center will leave the club to potentially replace Fijian star Semi Radradra for Lyon are completely false.

He added that Masi has signed a contract with Drua and will remain with the club through the 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season.

He said fans could expect Masi’s name to be on the list when the side’s name is announced later this month.

“Let me tell you this, right A, don’t believe everything on social media. Secondly, his contract is still ongoing and he is very happy, he has a contract for 2025.”

Evans says fans and supporters of Fijian Drua should be wary of false news that often appears on social media, but should consult reliable sources for such speculation.

Masi is expected to bring great excitement and enthusiasm to Drua next season and he is one of the club’s most valuable players.

The 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season will begin in February.
