Harris’ attempt to reach out to Arab and Muslim voters backfires spectacularly, threatening to cost her 19 Electoral College votes and potentially the election

Kamala Harris has been warned that she risks losing the state of Pennsylvania and the election unless she denounces anti-Israel activists campaigning on her behalf.

The incumbent Vice President will campaign in Pittsburgh tomorrow as the race for the White House enters its final hours with names like Lady Gaga.

Backlash is mounting in the city after his campaign hosted speakers who openly blamed Israel for the horrific October 7 attacks by Hamas terrorists.

Pittsburgh Mayor Ed Gainey and Allegheny County Executive Sara Innamorato spoke at events despite previously saying Israel was responsible for the massacre.

The pair, along with Rep. Summer Lee, signed a statement claiming the violence ‘did not start on October 7.’

His statements drew the ire of Pittsburgh’s Jewish communities. New York Post constitute a significant part of the population.

The publication reported that there is a 400,000 strong Jewish population set to vote in Tuesday’s election, but they are currently in line.

With those votes now at stake, he could potentially lose the state’s 19 Electoral College votes, eliminating his chances of clinching the presidency.

Many Jewish Democrats in Pittsburgh responded to the post saying they felt betrayed by the party on these issues.

Aviva Lubowsky, a 45-year-old mother of two, was not one of them, but she said she would support Harris but warned that Democrats should be afraid of losing Jewish votes.

He said: ‘If the Democratic Party wants to retain its Jewish voter base, it must distance itself from and condemn extremists in the party.

‘The rhetoric they use is dangerous for the safety of my children. This causes people who would normally vote (for Harris) to vote for Trump.’

Jennifer Murtazashvili, a Jewish political scientist at the University of Pittsburgh, told The Post she wasn’t surprised to hear that Jewish voters were concerned.

He said about 60 percent of his liberal Jewish friends are considering voting for Trump because they don’t trust Harris to combat anti-Semitism.

‘The mainstream progressive left has a big problem on its hands. How can we understand what his policies are apart from the people around him?’ he said.

Another Jewish Democrat also told the press: ‘There are undecided voters in the Jewish community that I never thought there would be.

‘These are Democrats, not just registered Democrats, but people who voted for Obama, Clinton and Biden.

‘The lack of moral clarity gives people pause,’ he said, adding that Harris refused to say whether she would limit support for Israel as an issue.

Another voter said he was considering voting for Trump, citing people like Gainey and Innamorato as the problem.

The unknown woman said: ‘They clearly understood how dangerous it would be for Summer (Lee) to be there. They are aware of this issue. ‘They may have distanced themselves.’

Concerns about Jewish safety are particularly significant in Pittsburgh after Robert Bowers killed 11 worshipers at the Tree of Life synagogue in 2018.

More recently, three Jewish students at the University of Pittsburgh were attacked on campus.

Murtazashvili added: ‘When you face the kind of violence that our society faces here, and you see the kind of violence that Israel faces, it seems extremely existential.

‘It was shocking to see this statement after the mayor saw what happened to Jewish students in his own city.’
