Drake and DeMar DeRozan controversy: What’s going on?

DeRozan is a six-time NBA All-Star who played for the Raptors from 2009 to 2018, making him a good candidate for the same treatment.

But speaking on Canadian Sports channel TSN, Drake said: “If you put up a DeRozan banner, I’ll go out there and take it down myself.”

Speaking to reporters after the game, he applauded the rapper when asked about his comments.

“It’s going to be a long climb to get it down, so tell him good luck,” he said.
