Suspect Arrested in Brighton Stabbing

Boston, MA – On Monday at 10:02 p.m., officers from District D-14 (Brighton) responded to a report of a stabbing at the intersection of Commonwealth Boulevard and Warren Street in Brighton. Upon arrival, officers located a 36-year-old male victim who received medical attention from Boston Emergency Room for multiple stab wounds.

It was learned that the injured person’s life was not in danger and he was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. Region D-14 Teams conducted a comprehensive investigation at the scene and identified the suspect involved in the incident.

At approximately 6:30pm on Tuesday, D-14 Detectives and the D-14 Drug Control Unit (DCU) arrested Hans Pierre, 43, of Brighton, outside his home in connection with the stabbing.

Hans Pierre will be arraigned in Brighton District Court on charges of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife). The investigation is still ongoing.
