Missing pregnant woman’s husband charged with murder

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – In a major development, the U.S. Army said Wednesday that more charges, including murder, have been filed against the husband of a missing pregnant woman.

Pfc. Dewayne Arthur Johnson II was charged with murdering Mischa Johnson, premeditated murder of her unborn child, obstruction of justice and possession of child pornography.

“It was a relief,” said Johnson’s sister, Marianna Tapiz. “I was like, okay, now… I can plan to shut it down. So it was definitely like a stepping stone.

“I’m still processing everything,” he said.

Pfc. Johnson was arrested on August 19 and Originally accused Making false statements, obstruction of justice, and production and distribution of child pornography.

Mischa Johnson, 19, He disappeared from his home at Schofield Barracks in July.. She was about six months pregnant at the time.

His body has still not been found.
