Desperate to move to Canada, Delhi man first killed his mother, then apologized to his father – Delhi News

A man killed his mother on suspicion that she was using black magic and prevented her from moving to Canada. According to the police, the incident came to light on Wednesday evening, November 6, when Apollo Hospital alerted them that a woman with multiple stab wounds had been brought dead.

Upon notice, police teams first went to the hospital and then to the scene. During the investigation, it was revealed that the accused, identified as 31-year-old Krishan Kant, called his father Surjeet and asked him to come home after killing his mother.

Surjeet, who runs a real estate business nearby, returned to find his son waiting for him. Krishan reportedly apologized to his father and then took him to the first floor of their home and locked him inside before escaping.

When Surjeet reached the first floor, he saw his wife Geeta lying in a pool of blood. Seeking help from neighbors, they took him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Police registered a murder case on Surjeet’s complaint and arrested Krishan Kant. The defendant revealed shocking details during his interrogation. Krishan, who was unemployed and had a history of substance abuse, was desperate to move to Canada and settle there. However, his mother Geeta insisted on getting him married first, hoping that it would stabilize his life.

However, Krishan believed that his mother had performed black magic to prevent him from going abroad. Convinced that she was the reason she couldn’t move to Canada, the man attacked her with a knife and killed her on November 6.

Police suspect that an argument between Krishan and his mother over marriage escalated and led to the murder. It was also revealed that Krishan had purchased the knife a few days before the incident.

The family, which lives in Jaitpur, includes Surjeet, his wife Geeta, their elder son Krishan Kant and their younger son Sahil, who works in a bank.
