BLOOMINGTON — An exciting Big Ten showdown begins Saturday afternoon as the undefeated Indiana Hoosiers take on the Michigan Wolverines in search of an upset.

Michigan Wolverines (5-4, 3-3 B1G) vs. #8 Indiana Hoosiers (9-0, 6-0 B1G)

The Wolverines are trying to salvage a disappointing season. The reigning national champions have looked like shells under first-year head coach Sherrone Moore, and that showed when they faced some of the best teams in the country. Outside of a win over hated rival Michigan State two weeks ago, Michigan has lost three of its last four games, including a disappointing 38-17 loss to Oregon last Saturday. It was a game against the No. 1 team in the country, the Wolverines had a chance to stay within the score but once again made too many mistakes on offense.

The Hoosiers, on the other hand, are having one of the best seasons in program history. After defeating the Spartans 47-10 last Saturday, Indiana is off to a 9-0 start to the season for the first time in program history. The team has an offense that is among the best in college football and a nearly unbeatable defense. With an upcoming clash with Ohio State, Indiana is in a good spot to win 10 games for only the second time in its history.

IU is tied for first place in the Big Ten with the Buckeyes, while Michigan is tied for seventh place with Illinois, Wisconsin and Washington.
