The Democratic Party of Korea focused on the part of Myung Tae-kyun’s prosecution investigation in which he stated that he received an envelope of money from First Lady Kim Gun-hee.

The amount is known to be 5 million won, but Myung explained that it was “the nature of transportation expenses” but expressed doubts about the nature of the money, asking, “Who in Korea charges such transportation expenses?”

This amount in the hands of the public is not very large and can also be in the form of litigation fees, so they follow public trends or additional disclosures.

However, given that a certain amount is mentioned, there are also concerns about the Democratic Party’s “cash envelope at the convention.”

The Democratic Party also released additional transcripts containing circumstantial evidence that Myung had influence over the agency head’s appointment or recommended stocks after learning of the president’s schedule in advance.
