30-year-old man killed in crash in Bedford County

BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. – A 30-year-old man was killed in a crash in Bedford County on Wednesday, according to Virginia State Police.

The incident happened around 9 p.m. on Bold Branch Road, not far from Blue Sky Drive.

Tyrin Deshane Martin of Bedford was driving a Chevrolet C-15 southbound when he ran off the right side of the road and crashed into a tree, authorities said.

State police pronounced him dead at the scene.

It is currently unclear what caused the accident, but the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
