Maryland man charged with multiple crimes related to rape and sexual abuse of 3 minors: police

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD. – A Maryland man has been arrested and charged with multiple crimes related to the rape and sexual abuse of three young women in Montgomery County.

The suspect was identified as Irvin Ariel Portillo, 28, of Damascus, Maryland.

Montgomery County police began investigating Portillo’s allegation that he raped a teenage girl on Tuesday, October 29. Two additional victims were identified during the investigation.

Portillo was arrested on Friday, November 8, and charged with multiple felonies, including second-degree rape and third-degree sexual offense. Portillo was taken into custody and processed at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he is being held without bail.

Detectives believe there may be more victims and encourage them to come forward.
