Stop the Fire Campaign

Pastor Ransey O’Daniel, along with Tuscaloosa Christ Baptist Church, is part of the “Stop the Shooting Campaign,” a joint effort between local churches and Tuscaloosa Police to get people to put down their guns.

There’s a long list of priorities, ranging from community engagement to neighborhood watch programs to more education on gun laws. They also want to give young people positive role models.

In recent months, we have seen the “Stop the Fire Campaign” in action, going door to door talking to people and carrying out citywide revitalization activities to prevent this from happening.
