Gourmet grilled cheese shop in Massachusetts is closing its first store in 10 years

A gourmet grilled cheese brand in Boston is saying goodbye to its original brick-and-mortar location after 10 years.

Roxy’s Grilled Cheese inside allston It was written that the business would close on Sunday, November 24 Facebook Thursday, November 14th.

“We just want to say THANK YOU for all the cheesy memories,” the Facebook post reads. “It was an absolute honor to be a part of this community.”

As the Allston store closes, Roxy’s Location in Cambridge will remain open and the food truck will continue to operate.

“We look forward to welcoming you and keeping the good vibes going,” the Facebook post reads. “So thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Allston. Let’s keep the party going in Central Square!”

James DiSabatino founded Roxy’s Grilled Cheese as a food truck business in 2010, according to Roxy’s. website.

The food truck and restaurants specialize in gourmet grilled cheeses like Green Muenster, Rookie Melt and Hot Honey Bacon.

Roxy’s Allston store opened in 2014. The company’s second location at the Arcade in Cambridge followed a few years later.
