Governor Calls for Digital Empowerment of Seers at All India Vedic Conference | Dehradun News

Haridwar: Seers have a great responsibility to share cosmic knowledge with the world, Lieutenant Governor Gurmit Singh (Retd) said on Saturday. “I would personally like to see a computer in the hands of each of them,” he said while addressing Vedic scholars and students from 14 states of the country attending a three-day meeting. All India Vedic Conference at Suratgiri Bangla Ashram in Kankhal in Haridwar.
The conference was jointly organized by the Union ministry of education Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriya Ved Vidya Pratisthan (MSRVVP) and Shri Maheshwaranand Sanskrit Vidyalaya with the aim of promoting preservation and dissemination of Vedic knowledge.
Highlighting the importance of Sanskrit, the Governor said: “This is a repository of wisdom where all forms of knowledge, ancient and modern, find their roots in the Vedas, which are widely accepted as the oldest texts in human history. I am delighted to read the Vedas of Sanskrit scholars, seers and scholars “I hope that they are doing their part to protect it, and I hope that the negotiations at this conference will make a significant contribution to this goal.”

MSRVVP Secretary Viroopaksha V Jaddipal, while speaking at the event, emphasized the importance of preserving the Vedas and equated their preservation with the preservation of the nation. Calling for a strong effort to spread Vedic knowledge, he urged the state government to allocate 25 acres of land for setting up a dedicated Vedic institution.
Acharya Balkrishna, general secretary of Patanjali Yogpeeth, said: “The Vedas offer unparalleled depth about life and the world, and there is no other literature that explores their many aspects in such depth.”
