Appeal following Lawrence Weston collision

Officers are at the scene of a collision with serious injuries in the Lawrence Weston area of ​​Bristol.

We were called at 1.51pm today (November 17) to reports that a BMW car had left the road and collided with a child near the junction with Kings Weston Road in Long Cross. It was also learned that the two people in the vehicle later left the scene.

Police teams were present at the scene along with ambulance and fire brigade teams.

It was learned that the injured child was in life-threatening condition.

The investigation continues to identify the occupants of the vehicle. They are described as a man and a woman, both white. The man had short dark hair and was wearing a gray puffer jacket, light-colored pants and white sneakers. The woman had blonde hair and was wearing a black puffer jacket, blue jeans and light-colored shoes.
