Fatal motorcycle crash on US-169 in Tulsa leaves one dead, one injured

TULSA, OKLA (KTUL) — On Saturday night, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a fatal motorcycle crash on US-169 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

According to OHP, 60-year-old Harold Butler was driving a 2009 Harley Davidson northbound on US-169.

Kimberley Coppedge, 55, was a passenger on the back of the motorcycle.

The motorcycle was traveling northbound when the rear tire blew, causing Butler to lose control of the vehicle.

Butler was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders.

Coppedge was transported to a nearby hospital in poor condition.
