Yarmouth man arrested in Westbrook faces multiple drug charges

WESTBROOK (WGME) — A Yarmouth man faces drug charges after being arrested in Westbrook on Wednesday.

Police said they received a report of a man with a rifle near a home on North Street. Officers responded to the scene and found 53-year-old George Sullivan with a realistic-looking pellet rifle.

During the investigation, police said they found illegal drugs on Sullivan, as well as suspected drug money.

Sullivan was arrested and charged with unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, and violating conditions of release.

He was taken to Cumberland County Jail.
