Elsewhere in Ukraine, Russia hit the Sumy settlement with Iranian-made Shahed drones overnight, killing two people and wounding 13, the regional administration said.

Ukraine’s Suspilne media quoted the head of the Sumy region, Volodymyr Artiukh, as saying that the drones were full of shrapnel. “These weapons are used to destroy people, not objects,” Artiukh said, according to Suspilne.
