FEMA disaster recovery centers are closing today

LYNDON, Vt. (WCAX) – Disaster recovery centers in Vermont are closing this weekend.

The remaining centers in Hinesburg and Lyndon will close permanently at 6pm tonight. They opened to support Vermonters affected by this summer’s storms.

The deadline to apply for disaster assistance is Monday. Vermonters affected by both July storms must apply separately for each.
