Youth violence seminar comes to Buffalo

BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — There is a group focused on using faith to inspire our youth and steer them away from violence. They focused their efforts on Buffalo on Saturday.

“So this is just an opportunity to extend the olive branch to help our people, to meet them where they are so they know how to de-escalate tensions and solve problems without resorting to violence, the violence must stop.” “Said Yadaya Israel, the United Captain of Israel in Jesus.

Israel United in Christ sponsors this event and they have traveled as far as the Dominican Republic, but have recently shifted their attention to Western New York.

They held a seminar in Rochester in June and spent their trip to Buffalo at the Harvey Austin School on Sycamore Street, where families came to hear their solutions.

They encourage adults to participate and lead by example.

“As adults, we are the last hope for our children because where are we going and we will be educating an almost lost generation because without our children there is no future,” Erel Israel said.

They plan to be present and host events in the future to guide our youth in the right direction.
