City of Duncan closes bridge over Gatlin Road for safety

DUNCAN, Oklahoma (KSWO) – Saturday afternoon, a PSA was sent to those in the City of Duncan regarding the immediate closure of bridges in the area.

According to the announcement, Duncan Public Works has closed the bridge between Old Highway 81 on Gatlin Road and the Duncan Bypass for safety reasons.

There will be no through traffic until necessary repairs are made, but access to local properties will be maintained.

City officials say there is no current timeline for reopening the bridge.
