Doctors affiliated with the Department of Health Services will not be able to participate in seminars, meetings, symposiums, training or workshops abroad more than twice a year.

A notification issued today (November 24) by Mohammad Abdul Hai, Additional Secretary of the department, said that this policy will apply to all doctors working in departments or establishments under the department.

It will come into force as of January 1.

According to the declaration, anyone going abroad for a meeting, symposium, training or workshop will need to obtain a certificate from the inviting organization stating that all expenses will be covered by the organizers.
