Hit-and-run woman fled the scene and rolled her car into a shed

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) – On November 24 at approximately 12:55 p.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department were dispatched to Cruisers Bar for a hit-and-run crash.

When officers arrived on scene, they discovered that a black Audi sedan driven by 20-year-old Laci Thames had struck multiple vehicles attempting to exit the parking lot.

He fled the scene when another driver reported the damage to Thames.

At approximately 1:00 a.m., the Grand Junction Regional Communications Center received a 911 call reporting that a black Audi had run a red light and crashed into a shed in the area of ​​27 ½ Road and Patterson.

When authorities arrived at the scene, they found Thames trapped in his car.

The Grand Junction Fire Department extricated Thames and transported him to the hospital with serious bodily injury.

Alcohol is thought to be a factor in both accidents.
