Store clerk repels rapist with pump

MIAMI (WPLG) – Police are searching for a man who tried to rape a smoke shop employee.

The victim eventually managed to fend off the attacker using a plunger.

“The only thing that’s on my mind is that I don’t want anyone to force me to buy something with him unless I want to,” the victim said.

On November 9, a shirtless man walked into a smoke shop in Miami.

Below is a horrific attempted rape caught on security camera.

He dragged the clerk into the back room and she was begging him.

She continues to cry, but he is able to fight her off with the plunger.

“There was nothing that could stop him. The only thing that stopped him was I thought to say I pressed the emergency button and the police were coming and that scared him a little bit but then he came back,” she said.

You can hear the devastation in the victim’s voice after the attack.

Police are hoping the public can help identify the man.

“This was the worst thing ever and like I said no girl should have to go through something like this. That’s why I want him to be put in jail,” the victim said.
