St. Man stabbed in Albans is in serious condition

ST. ALBANS, Vt. (WCAX) – A man is listed in serious but stable condition after police say he was stabbed in the chest.

Albans Police responded to Ranimer Pl. for a reported stabbing just before noon Sunday.

Police say 37-year-old St. Justin Lee Reynolds, 30, of St. Albans, was killed during an argument. He determined that he stabbed Jason McWilliams, of St. Albans, in the chest.

Emergency crews took McWilliams to the hospital, where he remained in serious but stable condition.

Reynolds remains in jail without bail and is awaiting arraignment on a charge of attempted second-degree murder, police said.

They say Reynolds has a significant criminal record, with five felonies, nine misdemeanors and numerous other charges.
